MAC Haul

Hi

So I recieved my MAC haul today through the post.
Isn't it soo nice when you come back home and there is a parcel waiting for you, filled with goodies?! :)

MAC currently has three new collections out-MAC+Mickey Contractor, Stylish Yours and Cham Pale.
I bought three products from the Mickey Contractor collection and two from Cham Pale collection.

Mickey Contractor -
Athma Eyeshadow quad

Colours from left to right are-
Jaan-limited edition, Vivah-limited edition
Folie-permanent and Carbon-permanent

I also ordered two lipsticks from this collection-
Mehr which is a muted matte mid pink colour
This colour is amazing and has stayed put on my lips all day without fading.
I wanted to purchase another one buts its already sold out on the MAC website (hmm visit to Selfridges is needed me thinks!)

Mocha is a satin finish, 

I haven't tried this lipstick out yet on my lips, but swatched it on my hand. It has a very lovely texture, to get a more vibrant colour payoff you may need to apply a few coats. But its just as lovely on sheer too.

In the picture it appears lighter than it actually is. In reality its quite a mid-tone neutral brown colour.

Cham Pale collection

From this collection I only ordered two items. These were the only two that really stuck out to me.

Special reserve highlight powder in Rose Ole-

Again this item is already sold out on the MAC website! It's such a shimmery light pink with speckles of gold(it might be silver and gold, I'm not sure). It would make a lovely highlight colour, but I think I'm going to use it as a blusher too.

It also has a crinkly paper type effect on the top layer, which is nice and all :P

Caviar Dreams eyeshadow quad-

Colours from left to right are-
Brulee, Et tu, Bouquet?
Caviar Dreams, Retrospeck

These colours are soo light and gorgous!
Light enough to wear everyday for school or work, as long as you use a light hand!
Even on a night out, if you pair either one of these shades with a darker, smouldering colour would look amazing.

I haven't swatched any of these yet, but I will do or maybe I will try each look on and post them...hmmm I don't know yet....

Final Word-
Both collections are lovely in my opinion. If you love neutrals or light colours with a hint of shimmer Cham Pale is the collection for you, however not feeling it with the lipsticks. In my opinion they look too bland and personally would not suit my nc30 skin tone.

Mickey Contracter-the man has been at the forefront of Bollywood makeup artistry for a gazillion years!
The collection is as I imagined it to be with muted hues and colours. I am a tad let down with the blushers though. As a blusher girl, I would have loved to have seen something with a bit more oomph or sparkle!
